Kelley Swindall
Kelley Swindall

Kelley Swindall (pronounced swindle) was born and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia, where she grew up listening to the music of Kris Kristofferson, Patsy Cline, and Johnny Cash on the way to church every Sunday morning, because that's what her Daddy listened to. The rest of the week she listened to the Atlanta classic oldies station, because thats what her ride to school listened to, and when she was old enough to drive herself , she added Ryan Adams, Tom Petty, and Dylan to the mix. . Drawing from her Southern roots & background, her style is a blend of soulful & bluesy folk n roll coupled with a witty, gritty, classic country sensibility, inspired by the outlaw tradition. Her music is deeply rooted in story songs, talking blues, and driven by strong female characters who tell it like it is and don't take shit. You can find her playing solo out on the road, as well as around NYC, where she's shared the stage with the likes of David Allen Coe, Jesse Malin, Tommy Stinson, Joseph Arthur, and Alan Merril, among others. You kind find her playing in and around NYC , and on the road at killer spots throughout the country.

Bohannons
Bohannons

From the wilds of Chattanooga spring Bohannons, one of that town’s finest rock bands of the past 20 years, a crackling, snarling beast of an outfit that lands somewhere between Ronnie Wood, Neil Young and a homemade flamethrower. Marty Bohannon’s piercing vocals ride on waves of brother Matt Bohannon’s ringing and whining guitars, driven by the whirling rush of drummer Mike Gault and bassist Billy C. Robinson’s rhythms. – Stephen Trageser, Nashville Scene In 2006 the Bohannons would set out on their first American tour retracing their steps year after year and setting off in new directions all the while. What would start as archaic recording processes would eventually bring them to some of the most well-known studios in the country, from Electrical Audio in Chicago to Chase Park Transduction in Athens, GA and on to Dialback Sound in Water Valley, Ms. Every album from 2010’s Days of Echo to 2015’s Luminary Angels is an invitation to listen and look into both the blessings and burdens of the working class south. The framework of the titles dare to encompass the best of rock, blues, country, power pop, punk and metal. We are excited to share with you Bloodroot our latest LP. It’s inspired by our home, family, friends, and this indelible planet. The songs are vignettes of this wild journey we are on which is never short of high nor low, and never lacking in love and spirit. – Marty Bohannon Bohannons’ Bloodroot will be available on vinyl, CD, digital and streaming formats on April 5th via Cornelius Chapel Records

Perpetual Groove Acoustic Trio P3"
Perpetual Groove Acoustic Trio “P3"

Perpetual Groove caught everyone by surprise in 2015 when they returned to the stage after a two-year hiatus. The band performed eight weekends that year, over multi-night runs, to sold-out shows in some of their favorite cities across the country, thus ringing in a new chapter for Perpetual Groove. The band resolved to make a big change by taking the time to craft, and bring to focus, music that stays true to their creative vision. That change is here on their new self-titled album. The band recruited producers Jason Kingsland and Tim Friesen to help them accomplish the most engaging and sonically-gratifying Perpetual Groove album to date. While recording at The Fidelitorium in Kernersville, NC and Studio MG in Roswell, GA, the band and producers engineered an album that will define Perpetual Groove for years to come. Seven new songs were written by the band specifically for this album representing all that life brings—loss, redemption, and hope. Perpetual Groove continues to create a cultivated, unique experience for each live show. This new chapter for Perpetual Groove showcases the continuing evolution of their music and performances. This is a band that is fully realized and ready to bring their new sound, storytelling, and live experience to the masses.

Human Resources with Chris Wilcox
Human Resources

Human Resources is an alternative pop-rock band from Charleston, SC. Formed in 2015 by Dries Vandenberg, Aaron Utterback, Paul Chelmis, and Matt Zutell, HR quickly adopted a unique role in the blossoming Charleston music scene as a more pop-centric counterpart to the neo-southern and indie rock acts prevalent in the area at the time. The band’s debut single “Queen” and the subsequent L.P. En Route (2015) were released to positive local reviews, earning noteworthy traction on Spotify and other streaming services. The debut played a key role in earning HR the “Electronic/Experimental Band of the Year” award from the Charleston City Paper. The follow-up campaign Pizza Dreams (2016) matched the trajectory of it’s predecessor, eventually earning the band a second consecutive City Paper Award, and producing another successful single, “Bad News” which helped the band extend its reach to the national level. In 2017 Human Resources began work on their third release. As with En Route and Pizza Dreams, the band will utilize the talents of drummer Matt Zutell (Coast Records) for the majority of the production needs, continuing a long standing tradition of self production. In addition to Zutell, HR will tap LA based producer Taylor Locke, founding member of Rooney, at his studio The Velveteen Laboratory for initial production work.

Jeff Crosby & The Refugees
Jeff Crosby & The Refugees

Born and raised in a sleepy mountain town in Northern Idaho, singer-songwriter Jeff Crosby has managed to delineate the sometimes amorphous genre of "Americana", package it perfectly, and deliver it to his listeners time and again. His songs present almost as pages ripped out of an intimately personal diary, detailing the rugged beauty of what it means to have loved, lost and kept on the move. There seems to be no shortage of inspiration as Crosby is one of the last few "troubadours" that truly lives the life he sings about. After dropping out of school at 17 to pursue touring full-time with a band on the west coast, he's made his living by permanently staying on the road - night after night, show after show, from load-in until the last drink is poured. For five years, Crosby hung his hat in a little shoebox apartment off Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, giving up coffee to pay rent and running around with "The Homeless and the Dreamers" (a title of a song he wrote paying homage to that time). After a chance encounter in the city, he met and befriended a music editor for the critically-acclaimed television show Sons of Anarchy and subsequently had two songs featured on the program. Amid treading the scene in L.A. while he was home and touring across the U.S. with his band (and later with Widespread Panic song-writer Jerry Joseph), Crosby had managed to travel abroad to several countries including the United Kingdom, Iceland, Mexico, Colombia and Nicaragua. All of these countries offered experiences that lent themselves to the songs in his newest record, Postcards from Magdalena. The record was produced and engineered in Portland, OR by Gregg Williams (Dandy Worhals, Blitzen Trapper, Pete Droge, Jesse Malin) and Geoff Piller in Nashville, TN. It has been distributed worldwide with an emphasis in Europe, due to the partnership with At the Helm Records in the U.K. and Blue Rose Records, based in Germany. It was lauded by some overseas, including this praise from Mike Davies from Folk Radio UK: "There’s many an artist out there mining America’s rich musical history and shaping it into their own experiences and observations; Crosby may well be one of the best.” Now based in Nashville, Jeff continues to tour and share his stories with America at large, offering up a sort of mirror so that it might better see itself. What happens now, only the fates can know. All that is certain is that it will surely be Beautiful and Strange. - H. Julian Guerre
